From sounds to planets

First came waves

Then came sounds

Then breath awoke

Making words abounds

Combinations of rhythms and noise

Turned into signal into poise

But in the background there is always space

For all the voices out of pace

Lost between tempered rhythm

In the cleft creating skism

Symbols came out of the blue

To make sense of time and rhythm too

But it fails to recognise the noise

It only knows force by alloys

Banging metal hard as stone

Has no grace nor flow nor hum

Just the beat of a war drum

But to find the dance in numerical bliss

Take off your shoes and earth kiss

But not with lips upon your face

Instead with feet and take your place

See the numbers and symbols dance

As if you are in a trance

Let them sing and weave in ellipse

And find the planets in an eclipse
