A Pink Heart

Red of hate, rage and anger

Like the strawberry in the forest languor

Green of envy, jealousy and spite

Leaves of lemon balm brings calm in the moonlight

But when you find them both together

In grey and damp weather

You begin to feel a little blue

Quite sad, a lonely hue

Of the bilberry on a bush

Swinging in the wind, woosh

With the mix of light’s colours

You can tell time from hours

Full of red, three quarters green

Feeling quite envious and mean

Add four/fifths of blue

You will find a rosy hue

But only if you know how to begin

A dance that goes round like a vortex spin

Dancing in step with the call to nature

Thru the repetition of heartful nurture
